Forest River R-Pod Features near San Diego & Escondido, CA

The R-POD by Forest River is one of the most unique looking trailers on the market. Its Tear-Drop shape cuts through the wind, which in turn makes it easier to tow compared to your typical white box on wheels. 

The R-POD is also very well made with lots of hidden construction advantages.  All window openings, compartment doors, and water heater openings are framed with aluminum.  This sets the R-POD apart from other manufacturers who rely on the window frame for strength. ( Please see pictures below )

The windows have automotive seals and not gaskets which do not need servicing in the future. (Sealant and cork gaskets.)

The roof is a whole different story. A one-piece FIBERGLASS sheet runs from the front bottom of the trailer all the way to the rear wall bottom. There is NO rubber roof to worry about, and no seams in the front or the back for water to get through.

When it comes to the floor, it's an aluminum laminated well insulated floor with pre-made channels to run wiring from one side to the other which allows for a clean wiring job. Other manufacturers lay the wood decking on the steel frame without any insulation and just a water barrier.

Every R-POD gets tested for leaks with a seal tech machine to ensure a tight seal fit.
